The D Day Museum and Overlord Embroidery

The magnificent 83m long `Overlord Embroidery' depicts the allied invasion of Normandy, 6 Jun 1944 with sound guides available in 4 languages. Archive film presentation shown in 5 languages includes original footage and brings the period of World War II alive to the visitor. Other displays and exhibits depict D-Day from dawn to dusk, recreating moments from the events of that day, including the airborne drop and boarding a genuine landing craft. Military equipment and personal memories complete this special story.
